Let’s jump in….
Alleys and Street Art
Melbourne’s Inner city suburbs have an abundance of laneways and colourful street art, which can make fantastic backdrops.
Melbourne’s inner-city suburbs, including Fitzroy, Collingwood, and the CBD, are home to some of the world’s best street art. I love to find street art, interesting laneways and coloured feature walls that will suit your brand style. These vibrant and edgy backdrops add personality and creativity to any brand photoshoot.

Nothing says “Melbourne” quite like a shot featuring one of the city’s iconic trams. Great for brands wanting to showcase a connection to Melbourne’s culture, history, and urban lifestyle.

The Fitzroy Gardens
A hidden gem in the heart of the city, Fitzroy Gardens boasts charming English-style gardens and beautiful tree-lined avenues, making it a timeless setting for classic and elegant branding imagery. The beauty of the Fitzroy Gardens is that just a stones throw away are some architecural features that also photograph beautifully. A photoshoot at The Fitzroy Gardens gives you the best of both lush greenery AND urban scenery, it’s one of my favourite ways to create diversity within your images. This is perfect for headshots group photos of your team together.

Bright beach boxes
Attention colour lovers! The colourful, iconic Melbourne beach boxes at Brighton Beach provide a fun, vibrant setting, perfect for brands that want a summery, coastal aesthetic. The beach boxes also lend themselves as a great prop to sit on and provide a relaxed, beachside vibe with Melbourne’s skyline in the background. If you’re really keen, we can also get some images of you splashing in the shallows.

Melbourne Photo Studios That I love
If outdoor locations aren't your preference, there are also some excellent studio options to consider, offering a controlled environment free from the elements. Here are a few of my favourites….
1. The Historic Nicholas Building Studio, CBD
Step back into the most charming studio located right in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD at 37 Swanston Street, Melbourne CBD. Take the lift up and arrive in a delightfully bright studio. The space is beautiful and light-filled, providing an ideal setting for headshots and portraits. (as pictured below)
2. Fabrik Studio, Box Hill
Fabrik Studio is a ground level photography studio located in Box Hill, Melbourne. This large studio is oooosing with character and photo opportunities. It’s got a HUGE grey rendered wall that provides a most dreamy backdrop. There’s also another large red brick wall that gives colour and texture to images. Add in a few plants and it’s a photographers dream!
3. Studio Hardwick, Brunswick
Studio Hardwick is a Melbourne photography studio located in Brunswick. It’s got the most stunning arched windows that fill the room with bright light. The white timber painted floors make the whole room feel like you’re in a cloud. Please note there is no wheelchair access to this studio.
